A shameful case of yet another hit-and-run victim.

Wanchang was minding her business as a stray. It’s hard enough having to try to find and hunt for food and one day, while on one of her hunts, a car brutally struck her and left her paralyzed on the side of the road. She was helpless and unable to move with a gnarly open wound that could have gotten infected.

Luckily for her, a local found her and took her to a vet but they couldn’t take care of her so they called us to help. When we took her in to help with her recovery, we didn’t think she would make it but we did our best to provide for her needs, which included giving her her own wheelchair.

Then a miracle happened! One day, in the safety of her kennel, she began to stand up on her own! We were stunned and most importantly, we were excited! She really started walking all on her own!! It took her a few weeks to get used to it but once she was able to move around freely, she didn’t need her wheels anymore!

She is an absolutely wonderful dog and a work of miracles! She never stopped fighting even in her toughest moments Not only that but YOU can adopt her to make her life even better! She still has a slight wobble in her walk but it doesn’t hinder her at all. Wanchang can be shy around strangers but very loving when you get to know her! But due to what has happened, She is still too distrusting of strangers and will need to stay at the shelter. you can help her by becoming her Sponsor!
