This is Sweet little Whan! Whan means sweet in Thai.

Just look at her face! How can you NOT fall in love with her? Whan is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl that loves people despite the horrible incident that happened to her.

This poor girl was hit by a car and what did the person do? They LEFT her there! On the side of the road! She was in so much pain and she used her last bit of energy to escape to the side of the road near some grass.

Lucky for her, a kind-hearted local saw her bloodied state and first thought she was dead until they saw her breathe. She called us immediately to come to check her out and we went as soon as we possibly could to save this sweet dog and take her to the vet to get the treatment she needs.

It was found that she had some minor brain injury that caused it to swell. Not only that but her left rib cage was very slightly fractured too. Lucky for her, none of her injuries were fatal and now she lives with us at the shelter!

She is incredibly gentle and she loves meeting new people! Whan is very gentle and she can be a little shy but she warms up to people very easily! she would make a great dog for adoption but as of right now, she needs to fully heal from her injuries first.
